Cheers to 20 years as Connecticut's best designer bridal dress shop! We toasted our 20^th anniversary of The White Dress by the shore in a sparkly-filled tented celebration in The White Dress by the shore's lush outdoor garden with an ultra special tour of the best classic wedding dresses in our very own TWD Eras Tour. We were joined by industry friends, former brides, The White Dress by the shore owner, Beth’s family, former staff, and our current team (both of which we refer to as TWD family!)

It was such a treat to have so many former team members join our anniversary celebration. Our growth as New England's top bridal dress boutique and our steadfast commitment to our brides would not be possible without all of them. We are so proud to see where they have gone in their lives…many have started their own businesses and have started their own families. It is such a joy to see!

As guests entered The White Dress by the shore's glittering disco-ball filled anniversary party, we invited them to sign our "love letter" wedding gown - a classic TWD wedding dress! We love seeing all of the well wishes and congratulations that will forever be captured on a classic wedding gown that is part of our very own bridal gown collection, The Shore Collection. After enjoying nibbles and signature cocktails with an Eras Tour theme surrounded by a silver color palette and lush white floral designs, our guests ventured into The White Dress by the shore's bridal boutique to browse our very own TWD Eras Tour. The TWD Eras Tour is our curated collection of the best classic wedding dresses from real TWB brides that have stood the test of time. We borrowed back bridal gowns from 10 of our previous The White Dress by the shore brides to have a representation of wedding gowns through the decades.

It has been such an honor and a pleasure to be part of so many brides' lives over the past 20 years. We have loved every moment of making them look and feel beautiful on their wedding day. But, even more, we love that so many of our The White Dress by the shore brides have become friends! If fact, Tara, the owner of Cork & Craft, a mobile prosecco and craft beer bar in Connecticut, is a former TWD bride! We loved having her champagne Vespa serving bubbly to our guests and having her wedding gown on display as part of our TWD Eras Tour of quintessential TWD wedding dress from the past 20 years.

We are so grateful to all who celebrated with us in our chic disco ball themed anniversary party and came to browse our TWD Eras Tour.
