Our bride, Kaitlin, and groom, Robert, planned a beautiful summer wedding at Ocean Cliff in Newport, Rhode Island. This sweet couple met while attending college in Newport, so it was a special detail to be able to return to Newport to celebrate their wedding day.
For her classic bridal style, Kaitlin chose the Dania wedding gown by Antonio Gual. This minimalist strapless wedding dress features a flattering fit-to-flare silhouette with a long wedding dress train and cuffed detail at the bodice. The delicate covered buttons going down the back of this bridal dress are the perfect detail for a timeless wedding style.
At TWD, we love elegant bridal accessories like Kaitlin's gorgeous sapphire something blue wedding earrings, but it was her bridal heels with playful bows that added the perfect feminine touch to her classic bridal styling. (You know we love all things bows and bridal!) Another special detail was the bride's custom embroidered wedding veil stating, "We always have Newport." We love personal details for a wedding and to us, this was the ultimate personal detail!
Perfect for a summer coastal wedding, Kaitlin's bridesmaids wore mix-and-match style bridesmaid dresses in shades of pink and floral patterns. One of our favorite details of this wedding day is the floral purses that the bridesmaids carried instead of traditional bouquets. Such a chic wedding day detail that we hope to see trending in future weddings! We also love the chic parasols the bridesmaids carried to help with the summer sun and to create some fun wedding day photos.
Kaitlin and Robert's sweet pups also made an appearance - clad in tuxedos to match the wedding party! Both the bride and the groom surprised guests with a wedding reception outfit change. Our groom swapped his traditional tuxedo jacket for a white jacket, and our bride donned a fitted sparkle dress with a leg slit.
