"I knew right from the beginning that I wanted my overall look for the wedding to have an romantic, old-world feel. A cap veil was in my head from day one, so I knew whatever dress I chose, had to work with that look. I tried on a handful of different style dresses at a few locations before I found the Jenny Yoo that was just right. It was the perfect backdrop for the look I wanted to achieve--it was classic and simple, yet still made me feel effortlessly glamorous and comfortable all at the same time. I also had very specific thoughts for my veil, which I was having trouble finding both style-wise and in our price range! Penny was able to help me construct a completely custom cap veilâwe played with the lace, length, and construction, until it was just right. Without Penny I never would never have been able to get the veil that was in my head, on my head! That being said, I knew that when the veil came off during the reception, I would still need a little something extra to feel glamorous. After a long and unsuccessful search for a necklace that was substantial enough, I decided (a few days!) before the wedding, to use the beaded capelet from TWD. It was the perfect touch and I received so many compliments from our guests. All the girls at TWD (and I think each one assisted me at point or another) were a complete pleasure to work with! I'm the type to weigh out and try on every option, and they were always incredibly helpful and accommodating. I miss my trips down to the shop! I am completely confident that I had the most knowledgeable and professional ladies help me prepare for my big day!"
