This past Fall, word started to spread that the beloved designer, Augusta Jones, was going to be discontinuing their brand. This was devastating news to us here at The White Dress by the shore, as Augusta Jones has been on the racks here since 2008. We have dressed so many beautiful brides in Augusta Jones, and we had no idea how the designer would ever be replaced. Lucky for us, it was announced on December 17th that the Augusta Jones brand was being acquired by one of our new designers, Robert Bullock Bride! In the announcement, we learned that Robert Bullock will be partnered with the Augusta Jones founder, Charlotte Leung to carry on the beautiful collection. We were thrilled to know that the gowns will remain under the Augusta Jones name and that the patterns and fabrics will be used to create the gowns in the Robert Bullock bridal factory. The partnership of Robert Bullock and Charlotte Leung is perfect, and the transition has been seamless. With that, we are overjoyed to be keeping most of our Augusta Jones styles and they are ready to be sold and produced as normal!
