More about the stylist position:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Bridal Stylist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Selecting fashion-forward gowns and accessories for brides and bridesmaids 

• Customer service: providing exceptional customer service, and exceeding expectations at every turn.  Includes answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, and follow up after a client’s appointment.

• Relationship Building:  Connecting with brides prior to their appointment, furthering the connection in the appointment itself, and assisting them through their entire shopping journey until their wedding day.

• Assistance with store operations:  light cleaning, office organization,  appointment preparation, post-appointment cleanup, unpacking/boxing/shipping gowns, trunk show set up and break down and steaming gown samples.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have the ability to work every Thursday evening, Saturdays and one Sunday per month

• Prior experience in retail sales -preference given to an individual who has experience in luxury retail sales or bridal sales, fashion, and customer service

• Customer service oriented with a desire to go above and beyond for every client

*Don’t worry if you’re new to bridal sales – we provide an extensive paid bridal training program to every new hire to ensure you’re equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

SKILLS AND TRAITS:

• A high taste level and exceptional fashion sense are essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

• Creativity, the ability to multitask, a passion for continuous learning, and the desire to be part of a strong team are all qualities we value in our team members.

• The desire to go above and beyond for every client is essential for success in this role.

• The ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds and climb stairs (sometimes at the same time!)

FLEXIBILITY:

• Saturdays are required as part of this role (this is retail after all)

• The ideal candidate is also available on Thursday evenings (5-8 pm)  and 1 Sunday per month.
